Tasja P is a ceramicist based in Copenhagen. She has lived in different parts of Europe before finally finding her home in Copenhagen. After playing with clay for many years, she decided to make pottery her full-time occupation. She was a workshop assistant in a shared working space/studio in Oslo and after moving to Denmark she became, for two and half years, Eric Landon's apprentice and later assistant at Tortus Copenhagen. She has opened my own workshop in December 2016.
She mostly enjoy making functional ware. And she loves to see her work in everyday use. The first time we came across her ceramics, we fell in love with the design and beautiful glazes immediately. We hope you do too. Her ceramics are amazing.
Do you want to know a bit more about Tasja P ceramics?
On our webshop, we have a large selection of Tasja P ceramics. That is from small espresso cups to large vases and bowls. Since all her ceramics are hand thrown, two pieces are not exactly the same. But we think it one of the charms hand thrown vessels. Two cups in the same design and color can be slightly different in height, width or thickness and it is great to sense the craftsmanship behind every thing.
